Every Wednesday Following the 5:30pm Meeting
We have a weekly "meeting after the meeting" tradition where we get together after the 5:30pm meeting. Everyone is welcome--especially newcomers! We reserved a private dining room at Denny's to ensure we'll always have plenty of space for anyone wanting to enjoy our fellowship. Lots of laughs and lots of love... and sometimes throwing balled-up napkins at each other (or stealing each other's napkins). Show up anytime between about 6:45pm and... however long people are there (a lot of us stay until at least 8:30pm).

Starting in August 2022, we've held a monthly game night after the 5:30pm meeting. Everyone is welcome--especially newcomers! In a short time, this event has grown so much that one of our long-time homegroup members has started hosting it in their home to accommodate as many people as possible. Game night favorites include Catchphrase, Mafia, and Cards Against Humanity, but we'd love to throw some more games into the rotation! If you want to see the feistier side of some of us, this is the time to do it. It's also a perfect opportunity to practice your 10th step ;)

Anyone celebrating an AA birthday that month is welcome (and encouraged) to share their experience, strength, and hope! Bring your favorite side, dish, or dessert. (No pun intended. Please don't bring your side-dish... and honestly--not to take your inventory--if you have a side-dish, you should probably talk to your sponsor about that.)

Group conscience (sometimes called a business meeting or homegroup meeting) is a great way to learn about other ways to be of service to the homegroup beyond sharing, making coffee, or chairing meetings. It's where we discuss topics and/or issues related specifically to Bloopers, the surrounding AA community, and the worldwide AA community. If you want to bring up a topic, suggestion, or issue about Bloopers, you can add it to the discussion topics list (posted on the bulletin board above the mini fridge). And group conscience is another great opportunity to practice your 10th step (lol)!
